Read with the Deacs

The Skip Prosser Literacy Program invites you to Read with the Deacs. This program strives to create a community of readers in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Student interns and ambassadors regularly visit local elementary schools to promote our love of reading with schools participating in the Skip Prosser READ Challenge.

For 2025/2026, we invite faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members to join the Skip Prosser Literacy Program interns in reading City Spies by James Ponti. Participants can order the book through Bookmarks.
