Prosser’s Legacy
Honoring a Legacy
The Skip Prosser Literacy Program was created to honor the memory of former Wake Forest men’s basketball coach, Skip Prosser, who passed away in 2007. Honoring Prosser’s passion for reading and learning and his commitment to serving young people, the program celebrates Prosser’s legacy through reading and literacy education. Since 2009, more than 40 schools have participated in the READ Challenge. Over the course of the program, students are encouraged to read at least 2000 minutes, earning prizes as they reach reading benchmarks before earning the “Champion” status.
“Never delay gratitude.”
